I’ve certainly seen enough of those and I’m well aware of the problems with the Masonic religion as practiced by the more occultic members. However, this book is not about that. The Lord can use anything to save his sheep What I found was a delightful story about a man who was saved through … Continue reading →
For those of us who have been around long enough, this time is unusually chaotic. I read this in Dr. David Reagan’s article this morning. Everywhere we look, in every direction, the world appears to be falling apart. We are racked by wars and rumors of wars. Immorality and violence are rampant. Our money is being devalued and debased. Our educational systems have been hijacked by Humanists and Atheists. Our political systems are gridlocked by value wars and … Continue reading →
Accused of being religious — I hope not. What a horrible thing that is! I am certainly not religious, at least not too much. According to dictionary.com: a religion is a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs. The problem is that sets are defined and God is beyond definition—at least my God is. Sets of beliefs become merely points of argument: think waste of time. Yes, I can define many of my beliefs. Many of them are Biblical. I do see the … Continue reading →
The mission of the church during apostasy. Things have gotten much worse during the nearly ten years since I wrote this post. Let’s get one thing straight, I am not a fan of the organizations I see. My experiences with the church organizations of the 21st century are not good, and I expect them to get worse. [Ed: though we finally found one In Rochester, NY in 2019.] Back in 2011, I had just heard about the … Continue reading →
I’ve been working on a new expanded version of “Writing In InDesign” for my peers in ministry. (I haven’t figured out how to add the updates into the first edition.) I may write “Drawing In InDesign” first. Then I’ll do a radically expanded 2nd edition of “Writing In InDesign”—but that’s all in flux. I also received this in an email this morning: From Don in Colorado: I was up until 3:am reading Writing in InDesign. I can tell you’ve put … Continue reading →

Christendom Is Done , Now What Do We Do? – Desiring God. I must admit, this one surprised me. Christendom was never a good idea and I was of the opinion that it died a century ago. The reason I say good riddance is my issues with the basic concept of a “church” made up of self-sustaining legal organizations as opposed to being made up of ministries of men and women led by God. One of the quotes … Continue reading →
O, yes we are! Here’s some reality orientation for those of you, like me, who write and teach as a major part of your ministry for the Lord. I’ll let the stats speak for themselves. We really need to design easy to read, comfortable to read typography. We need to give our readers all the help we can. Thankfully, InDesign now takes care of most of that for us with only a few simple decisions required on … Continue reading →
Possession has a really bad ring to it, doesn’t it? However, that is simply due to the fact that we almost always preface possession with demon. This is a bad thing. However, the Holy Spirit is God himself and a gentleman at the very least. This is a spirit you should covet. This is a spirit you want to possess you, to fill you to overflowing. Maintaining spiritual security The manner of living this way mimics what we … Continue reading →
