The encouraging prophetic hope delivers joy
The encouraging prophetic hope — within our current state of big brother overreach, societal fragmentation, and evil lying delusion — delivers immense joy to us. The kosmos, Satan’s worldly kingdom, will disappear — totally destroyed. The end is near.
Today this post concerns the Bride — I’m not sure this will be available to the general population in the millennium. But it is almost a sure thing for the redesigned creation after Almighty God dissolves this reality in fire and power. It’s hard to imagine the changes when He rebuilds it all from scratch.
But for now, I want to talk with the Bride. Do you realize that we will know Jesus as He now knows us? More than that, we will know each other on that level also. Our life will be totally transformed. This is foreseen in the requirement that members of the Bride must be reborn and in an intimate relationship with Jesus. I’ve written extensively about these matters elsewhere —just search my sites for knowing Jesus.
Our encouraging prophetic hope is found in our marriage to Yeshua
The Holy Spirit touched my life to my core with a fragment of scripture, not too long after I met the Lord in the 1970s. I was studying I Corinthians and arrived at the end of the revelation of love in chapter thirteen. The Lord stunned me with a simple phrase: I shall know as I am known. My life has been consumed with that ever since.
I remember in the midst of a normal conversation with my wife, we were talking about questions we have about creation. I think I had mentioned the revelation I just shared. It was one of those delightful talks we had in our marriage. Pat said, “I have this long list of questions about our life. I can hardly wait until I get to heaven to hear the answers.” She went silent. I could almost see everything rearranging in her mind. Then a broad smile lit up her face. “The Lord told me that I’ll just know. The questions will be unnecessary.”
Some of the delights of the millennium
Let me simply list a few things I expect. According to the Lord’s priestly prayer in John 17, we’ll be one with Him and each other like He is with the Father and the Holy Spirit. I realize the following speculations are almost certainly colored by my preconceptions, but look for the core of what I am saying. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you the truth about these things, and our coming joy.
As I help in the government of the Kingdom, the Lord will lead me to my assignments as He leads my life now —directly, spirit to spirit, mind to mind. The guess work will be gone. I’ll know as He knows now. My work will be pure, righteous, and good. All the confusion will be gone. I’ll have access to the power needed to help those we serve.
As I work on creative projects, I’ll not only have the Lord’s help, as I do now. I will also share that level of communication with other members of the Bride. The ability to share new ideas will go through the roof. A truly humbling concept is that I may be able to have input on some of the things the Lord is doing. I’m convinced that one of the reasons the Lord came up with this plan was the incredibly diverse crop of peculiar individuals. He finds joy in our unique solutions and ideas.
I’m just titillating your mind in hopes of sharing our new experiences. Here’s a final scripture for this little exploration:
Beloved, now are we children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be. But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. [I John 3: 2 MEV]
His coming to pick up His Bride is imminent
We will be with Him, completely His, forever. We all will. What a marriage that will be once it is consummated.
