The epidemic core remains repentance — look up! I’m sitting here on my Shabbat wondering why this has come upon us. Actually, I’ve been praying about that and seeking for my response since early March. Church comes online in fifteen minutes. That’s good. But what would the Lord have me do for you?

The task He’s given me this morning centers around what He’s doing now in the world. This pandemic presents itself as a birth pang, the beginning of sorrows. What does that mean? Birth pang for what? What sorrows?

The process bringing the end of the gentile age

The end of the age of the gentiles comes soon. With it comes a massive change to the entire planet and all the people living upon it. God created this whole thing — the universe and everything within it. He created man[kind] for fellowship, a family and people to love —who love him and look to him for guidance and help. Friendship and family show us His focus.

This harvesting of the church and elimination of the rest reveals God’s intent. He plans to bring back Eden. When sin came in, paradise was corrupted. He didn’t create us to be killing food and each other. That came with sin. Death did not exist before the sin. Let’s look at how clear it was by seeing what He gave us to eat.

Then God said, “See, I have given you every plant yielding seed which is on the face of all the earth and every tree which has fruit yielding seed. It shall be food for you. Genesis 1: 29 MEV

We began eating fruit and nuts. Or fruit, nuts, and grain. We weren’t eating bunny food. That began after sin. Eating meat did not come until after the Flood was over. So, we are headed back that way. The coming of the King to His throne in Jerusalem brings radical change. This is why the epidemic core remains repentance. Because we do not even have that possibility unless we repent of our sin.

We need to be pure and focused on the prize. We do not have time any more for a compromised witness. The end comes instantaneously for the church.  You won’t have time to get cleaned up then.

But even more important, we are useless as a witness if we are living in sin. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you any sin in your life, and get rid of it! We need your help. This time presents the last opportunity to escape his wrath. I’m not going to quibble about salvation during the Great Tribulation. God always allows repentance. But you will go through the Wrath. Believe me, you do not want that to happen.

When the church is pulled out, the restrainer is gone and the world goes to hell in a hand basket almost immediately. We have eight billion people on the planet now. Some prophecy experts have calculated that there will be far less than a billion left when Jesus touches down on the Mount of Olives. I listened to one many years ago who gave a convincing argument that there will be less than a hundred thousand. We don’t know. We do know that only a third of the Jews who are left will survive to repent and turn to Yeshua.

The purpose of the birth pangs is to bring people to their senses, so they can repent

If you haven’t done that, and you haven’t been working to help your family and friends make that decision, you are wasting time, at best.
