By retaining comprehensive Godly focus we’re fruitful
Because His imminent return grows closer, retaining comprehensive Godly focus becomes even more important. In our Western civilization, the pressures to lose our sense of reality have become nearly overwhelming. You need to work on that. After 45+ years of walking with Jesus, I still need to work on it often.
Reality?! What’s that? Here I may lose several of you. If you have not realized yet that scripture is literally true, you need to talk with Jesus about that. He clearly did. That certainty is laced throughout what He said in the Gospels.
Remember, only the Bible is filled with fulfilled prophecy
This is not true of the Bhagavad Gita, Koran, Tao Te Ching, or any other sacred writings. Jesus Himself fulfilled well over a hundred prophecies during his life. Read Isaiah 53 if you’re not sure—or Psalm 22: 14-18 [MEV]
I am poured out like water,and all my bones are out of joint;
my heart is like wax;it is melted inside my body.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd,and my tongue cleaves to my jaws;and You have set me toward the dust of death.For dogs have encompassed me;the assembly of the wicked has enclosed me; like a lion they pin my hands and my feet;
I can count all my bones; they look and stare on me.
They part my garments among themand cast lots for my clothes.
Simply retaining comprehensive Godly focus enables us to understand
Simple things like global warming; the prominance of Russia, Iran, and their so-coming allies; the push toward globalist socialism, the need for the internet, the need for global television, the rebirth of Israel, and so on become easy to understand if you know the written word of god.
Even if we don’t know the Bible the way we should, its author, The Holy Spirit, will remind us or simply tell us if we are truly looking for Truth.
