When I was a kid I hated, “Respect your elders!” Of course, that was because I really didn’t respect any of them [most of the time with good reason].

But in the Kingdom, this should not be true. That person you know who has known the Lord for forty years has learned things it will take you 40 years to learn. You really ought to find out what he or she knows. It will help you know the Lord better — and you’ll probably make a friend.
