A Pen tool keyline project

This is a relatively simple project. Basically, you have a client, a Realtor, who is printing up dozens of 7.5"x9.5" flyers of current home offerings. Your current project is designing a folder to hold the flyers -- with slots to hold his business card.

This is his logo. Click on this link to download the PDF (28K) to place into your document. You must open the PDF in Illustrator, FreeHand, or Photoshop to get a better size or version. Make sure all of the colors are CMYK.

The 8"x10" folder design: You need to draw a keyline to show the letterpress shop where to place the knives to cut out the paper. They use rules of tool steel with one edge sharpened. These rules are embedded, dull edge down, into slots routed into thick plywood. A keyline is a half point stroke around a shape. For this folder the shape you need to draw will look like this.

The folder is 8"x10" after it is folded. The glue tabs are .75" wide and 3" tall. The pockets are 3" tall. And the business card slots are at 45 degrees at the corners of a 2"x3.5" rectangle. The logo goes where you see it on the front page. Under it, lined up as shown it says:

The diecut keyline must be in a special black spot color. The score lines must be in a spot color red. You must send in a separated PDF and a composite PDF. You should be able to figure it out from here. Send the finished document as a PDF to your instructor.
